Throughout the world, pubs and restaurants have been closed due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Even today on St. Patrick’s Day, no pubs in Ireland are permitted to open, in a generational first for the country.
It’s a necessary step given how large gatherings of people can become a breeding ground for coronavirus. But while people are self isolating and socially distancing, it can be a lonely time for those who still like meeting friends for a tipple.
